UKHCDO Haemophilia Peer Review Audit Reports 2024

The UKHCDO, together with patient organisations and other stakeholders, has systematically carried out peer reviews to evaluate the quality of care provided to patients with bleeding disorders. Peer reviews involve the evaluation of services by professionals working within or associated with the same field, measured against a set of agreed-upon standards. Ongoing peer reviews also represent one of the twelve final recommendations of the Infected Blood Inquiry Report from 2024.

The 2024 peer review cycle was the latest undertaken by the UKHCDO encompassing 32 centres across the UK. These centres were reviewed against standards derived from the National Service Specifications 2013.

The outcomes from each review can be found in the following reports.

Please note that after consideration and the first review the report template was changed but the standards assessed remained the same. This is why the Basingstoke and North Hampshire report will look different to the other reports on this page. If you have any questions about the reviews, please contact the UKHCDO (support@ukhcdo.org) or the respective centre.
